Afton Fair - Sandy
Good Morning - Only two days left of the Afton Fair! What a real pleasure is has been meeting club members at the fair and swapping stories of different rides and happenings associated with snowmobiling.

I think it is awesome to hear people thinking about snow in the middle of July!

See you at the Fair!

Colesville Super Celebration - Sandy
Saturday, July 5th - WOW, what a day! (see photo album)

We started the morning with Barb Hendrickson and Gary Smith driving our "new" Bombis in the Parade. They drove from I 88 near Citgo (exit6) to the American Legion in Harpursville. They tossed candy to the hundreds of on lookers. Upon arriving at the "field" next to the American Legion, they proudly displayed the Bombis for the day, for all to look at and admire. The many people that came by had questions; What are they for? Are they worth millions? Can I drive one?

Gary Hendrickson and his wonderful, dedicated family provide hours of entertainment for the many youths of the town with three games; Frosty the Snowman ball roll, Ring the Pirate Ship and Quarter toss. They had loads of fantastic prizes for the children. I think the favorite prize might have been the blowup baseball bat with a close second for the NAPA footballs. Tammy and Gary Smith with RJ Mobile Home Transport provided the Cotton Candy Machine, Ballons, and glow necklaces to round off the fundraiser and the fun. people were 30 deep waiting for the BEST cotton candy around. They had many kinds of tasty cotton candy flavors; grape, bubble gum, cherry and raspberry. Mark Rhodes was the designated Balloon Man as he handed out over 300 balloons to the many excited children and adults. Bryan LaClair lights up the tent every year with the evening lights that he provides to make it possible to give those cotton candy loving kids the ability to purchase their treats right up to the glow of the first fireworks.

If I had to give an MVP award for the Super Celebration it would go to Jim Reppard - he was there for us at every turn - He traveled from Castle Creek to help set up on Saturday morning, spent the day with us, talking to people about his passion for riding, and his love for snowmobiling and the club, he ran home did his chores for his animals and then came back in the afternoon to assist with the evening festivities. He stayed and helped break down then came back Sunday Morning and helped us move the equipment on the the AFTON FAIR, in Afton NY. He was a tremendous help.

Thank you to everyone and your families for all the help and support you provided to the club to make the Super Celebration a success.
