Meeting called to order at 7:15 By President Joel Munson

 

Sandy Chapin, read the minutes of the April meeting, stand as read.

 

Barb Hendrickson read Treasurer’s Report and they were approved as read.

 

Joel Munson reviewed the Forum trip and classes taken.

 

Joel Munson reviewed 5 Year Plan.

 

Sandy Chapin reviewed PA Railroad status.

 

Insurance to cover BOD/Officers is part of the NYSSA Liability Insurance policy.

Sandy reviewed insurance for workers on the trail.

 

Scott will try to get a guy from Parks to come to our next meeting.

 

Went over the 5-year plan again.

 

Joel talked about the two “new” groomers he found, one in Montreal for $12,000 and one in Rochester for $17,000. Joel feels that in order for the club to purchase a groomer we should have a private financier. He is handling that. There is also a BR100 in Johnson City.  Discussed a loan – Private VS Bank and the benefits of both. Discussed benefits of keeping a scandik vs selling it to purchase a bigger groomer.

 

Discussed training additional people to be groomers.

 

Discussed the monthly agenda.

 

Next Monthly meeting will be September 10^th, 2007 is an odd month and should be at the Hitchin Post.

 

There was a discussion on  whether  or not to do a monthly newsletter.

 

Fundraising – Should we do a chicken BBQ?

 

Fourth of July Super Celebration money for the booth has not been sent in yet.

 

Bryan LaClair is purchasing Rick Finches Planner.
