BOD Meeting

Belden Hill Golf Course

Meeting called to order at 7:20 PM

 

Attendees: Sandy, Mark, Dave, Joel, Bob, Bryan and Gary.

 

Dick Knapp is putting in our trail information to DOT and DEC. Joel is writing the narrative and 3-year plan for Broome. Chenango County paperwork was completed by Mark and Sandy and turned in.

 

The trail sign order is in and Dick or Mike has it. Joel will find out and make arrangements for it to be picked up.

 

Repair on the scandic is needed it is not charging and new skags are needed. Bob has some NO ATV signs that he will get to Bryan. Insurance for club members working on the trail was discussed again. Dave will talk to the Greene club to see if they want to split the cost of the policy. $450.00 to cover 100 people.

 

Dave, Joel and Byran went on a trip to Batavia to look at a groomer. That club has 140 miles that it grooms. It was a BR60 with a 8’ 2” drag. It is a 1990 with 2300 hours on it. It has room in the front for two people. Whole thing is 37’ long for $ 17,000. They don’t know how the club would pay for it though.

 

Barb was not present so we don’t know how much is in the account. Joel is not certain that we got the Broome or Chenango county checks.

 

Bryan got a tow behind sled to aid in the rescue of an injured person to be used on a volunteer  basis with the EMTs.

 

Joel has a guy that is interested in purchasing one of the Scandic.

 

Newt will modify the second Scandic so that it will be able to pull a drag better.

 

Killmier to build drag for us.

 

Bryan may have access to a private investor to help with the purchase of a groomer. Bryan will investigate more.

 

The format for the September 10, 2007 meeting will be as follows. Old Business, New Business, trail work, donations, party, sell sections of the trail.
