General Meeting

Belden Hill Golf Course

Meeting called to order 7:10

22 Attendees

 

Sandy Chapin read minutes from March meeting, Dick Knapp made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Gary Hendrickson seconded it and they were accepted unanimously.

 

Barb Hendrickson read the treasurer’s report, Gary Smith made a motion to accept them as read, Bob Blakeslee seconded them and they were accepted unanimously.

 

Joel Munson reviewed the upcoming schedule

• Forum April 13-15 held in Rochester – 10 members attending
• Deadlines for administrative paperwork
• Trail Prior approval process
• PA railroad trail

 

Joel reviewed the agenda for the meeting.

• Groomer update
• Elections
• New Business
• Review of 5 Year Plan

 

Mark Rhodes Reviewed the GPS of trails

• Proposed year one
• Proposed year two
• Proposed year three

 

Joel discussed the benefits of the PA Bombi and the Bombi in Maine. Gary Smith remarked “that before we precede any further the club needs to get our finances in order”.

 

Election of Officers:

·        Joel Munson – President

·        Sandy Chapin – Vice President

·        Suzanne Gates – Secretary

·        Barb Hendrickson – Treasurer

·        Mark Rhodes – Board of Director

·        Bob Blakeslee – Board of Director

 

All offices were unopposed a vote was taken and tallied by Gary Smith, Dave Norton and Bryan LaClair. All officers and BOD positions filled as listed above.

 

New Business:

• Forum – Grace Knapp from the Whitney Point club needs a ride 2:30 or after
• Cross County to Coventry Store trail – is it presently under DOCS – can someone attend a DOCS meeting to find out
• Equipment maintenance – drag kills battery need to consider alternative power source.
• 2004            Scandik needs new scags
• We have a private person willing to build us a larger drag

 

Need to secure a loan for $10,000- 12,000 for newer BOMBI – loan needs a cosigner per Joel.

 

Sandy made a motion that we send $100 to the church in honor of Johnny Hart as well as flowers to the funeral. Dick Knapp seconded it and it passed unanimously.

 

Board of Directors meeting announced for April 23^rd, at Belden Hill Golf Course. May 14^th meeting to be held at the Hitchin Post.

 

Tammy Smith won the 50/50 and donated back the $17.00

 

Dave Warpus donated the pizza for the meeting.
